Touch Football

Jointly developed by Touch Football Australia (TFA) and the National Rugby League, NRL League implements aspects of Rugby League into touch football. The game includes a marker, kicks in general play and the ability to drop the back backwards. The idea is to slow the game down, making it more accessible to all people of all ages and sizes.
The Pakenham Eels Rugby League Club and Touch Association deliver NRL League Touch from mid-September to mid-December, across three separate grades every Friday evening. The competition is 10 rounds (plus 2 washout rounds) with three rounds of finals with time slots of 6:30 pm, 7:20 pm and 8:10pm.
Open Mixed Social: Open to all teams wanting to play in a social, less competitive format with registrations open to male and female participants aged 11-years and over. This grade is perfect for inexperienced players, family teams and social players wanting to stay physically active in a less serious, fun environment. Mixed teams in this grade require five males and two females on the field at any given time.
Open Mixed Competition: This grade is suited for your more competitive teams, and for more experienced players aged 13 years and over. Mixed teams in this grade are required to have four males and three females on the field at any given time. There is a yearly prize pool up for grabs for the season premiers and runners up.
Open Male Competition: This grade is suited for your more competitive male teams, and for more experienced players aged 13 years and over, and we encourage all league teams on the Southeast to enter to stay engaged over the post season period. This grade also a includes a prize pool for the season premiers and runners up.
